If you’re driving on America’s highways over the next few weeks and think you see five of your favorite pop-punk/post-hardcore bandleaders in the vehicle next to you, you are probably correct! The all-acoustic “Where’s The Band?” tour is currently out for its fourth iteration, with solo sets from returning upperclassmen Chris Conley (Saves the Day), Matt Pryor (The Get Up Kids, The New Amsterdams), and Anthony Raneri (Bayside) as well as freshman participants Ace Enders (The Early November, I Can Make A Mess Like Nobody’s Business) and Evan Weiss (Into It. Over It.).
We caught up with all five guys when they came through New York last weekend to talk about how they all got together, what makes this tour such a special occasion, and what their communal life is like both in the van and on stage. We’ll post more from the chaps next week, including exclusive details on future releases from Two Tongues and the Early November, the new solo discs from Pryor and Raneri, and more tour talk!
Couldn’t stop smiling watching this, especially since this cover song idea, I stand behind 110%! I also listen to that artist frequently, and used to jam out to that individual’s music anytime I drove the Mours boys anywhere.
Very excited to hear this new Two Tongues stuff! I had no idea that project existed until Turntable.FM! Chris Conley and Max Bemis (Say Anything) sound beyond incredible together!
