Why’s everybody up in arms?  It’s just a promo video.   Reblog via imonlyahobo: Hey everyone! I’m sure you guys are wondering what exactly is going on, and, as always, I want to be as up front with you as possible right off the bat. So, let’s address this massive elephant in the room: the “sex tape” photos and video. For some reason it is…

Holy crap, I’m so stoked for Joshua’s return!  After hearing these songs and reading about their days of touring with At The Drive-In in this recent interview…  I can barely contain myself, waiting for their first release in about 10 years, Choices.   Btw…  bands like Thursday, Taking Back Sunday, Say Anything and New Found Glory cite Joshua as an influence.   ...

Sick Kids New Song →
I don’t really pay attention to trending topics on twitter…  but I just saw that “Clap Clap” was trending in the New York metro area.  That immediately reeled me in, so I had to click around and see what the fuss was all about.  Turns out Lil’ Kim’s got a new song featuring I.R.S. called, “Clap Clap.”  I checked it out, but am super disappointed....

Coheed, no second stage show in NY for your...
justslightlyoffbeat: That’s weak. In truth, Coheed and Cambria have not played a hometown show since 2003.  New York City is not where they formed or where any of SSTB took place.  The Hudson Valley has been severely neglected by their boys.

Tracking the crumbs toward Glassjaw's follow-up to...
It’s hard to believe I’ve been hungrily fiending for a new Glassjaw full-length for eight long years.  Worship & Tribute came out on Warner Bros. Records in 2002.  They put out a b-sides EP on iTunes in 2005 (El Mark) and then toward the end of 2006 Glassjaw performed a few super-sold-out shows debuting…  just about every song on this EP which was released yesterday!  Well...

Thank you for a great year! Though conceived in early 2008, A Thousand Torches was born in April 2010. Our glimmering presence existed as merely a tumblelog, but with donations contributed, we’ve been able to bring aKt closer to the complete vision of the website. Our Den (resource / archive) and Campsite (community bulletin board forum) are in development, and we’ve been in the habit of posting a...
